On City Council I’ll work to ensure responsible contracting practices that keep as many public dollars in our local economy by hiring local. Additionally, I’ll ensure that the GO Bond work stays on budget by right-sizing road projects and making simple changes to standards and specs that will bring Bend in line with other cities and reduce construction costs.
I know from experience that paying attention to the details — for both major infrastructure projects and small dollar investments — can make a big impact. Fiscal accountability matters.
